Every year RHP organizes a retraining and harmonization day about the RHP quality mark for auditors of certification bodies. This year on April 16th it was organised online due to the corona crisis. This day is intended to ensure that everyone interprets the (new) standards for the RHP quality mark the same.
Auditors of the certification bodies MPS-ECAS and Kiwa carry out audits at certified companies for the RHP quality mark. The RHP product certification scheme consists of many modules and is updated every year, partly based on developments in the field. Sometimes new modules are added, or standards are improved. It is important that all auditors interpret the descriptions in the RHP product certification scheme in the same way.
During the online meeting, the auditors were therefore updated on the annual adjustments to the RHP product certification scheme. The new standards apply since May 1st. Furthermore, attention was paid to remote audits and relevant European legislation. These topics were also discussed: the application of module 210 (hygiene), B and BE products, RHP compost, mineral wool, sampling, the Minerva 2.0 database, product checks by analysis, acknowledgement of external labs, internal labs and RAG certification. Auditors' experience of applying the standards formed part of the harmonization.
