The Supervisory Board of the foundation RHP has decided to appoint Martine Holtkamp as the new director of RHP as of February 1st, 2023. Operational director Marco Zevenhoven is currently acting director.
After her studies at the Technical University in Delft, Martine Holtkamp has held various positions in the maritime sector, including Sustainability & Environmental manager, lead auditor and project manager Sustainability. She then continued her career in the horticultural sector. For the past five years she has worked at MPS as a product development manager and Standards manager and was part of the management team. She has a lot of experience with certification schemes and has contributed to the development of the HortiFootprint Calculator.
“I am very much looking forward to further developing RHP together with the team. It is a challenging time for the horticultural sector due to the transition to an increasing use of renewable and circular raw materials. In addition to sustainability, this also makes the quality and safety of growing media even more important. As director of RHP, I will continue the (change) trajectories that have been started and will further expand the RAG quality mark in the Netherlands and the RHP quality mark in Europe,” says Holtkamp about her new position at the knowledge centre for substrates.
The Supervisory Board is convinced that Martine Holtkamp, with her background and work experience, is the right person to continue and build on the path that RHP has chosen.
