‘Going in-depth with new growing media’ is the theme of the Knowledge Day Substrate that RHP and Wageningen University & Research are organising 11 April 13:30-20:00 in the World Horti Center in Naaldwijk (The Netherlands).
The Western European growing media companies are switching to renewable raw materials in response to social wishes (including the covenant Environmental Impact Potting Soil and Substrates 18-11-2022). The most important well-known and lesser-known raw materials are becoming known. Key points for product development are the stabilisation and sanitation of the new raw materials. On this day, speakers will give (in Dutch!) their vision and outline possibilities for a safe further development and application of substrate (systems).
Wageningen University & Research and RHP are organising the 9th Knowledge Day Substrate at the World Horti Center in Naaldwijk. In addition to the presentations (in Dutch), there will be plenty of time for discussion and networking during the breaks and during dinner. The Knowledge Day is open to all interested parties and is aimed at specialists from potting soil companies, composters, producers of basic materials and services, suppliers of substrate technology, fertilizer manufacturers, consultants and suppliers of growing media systems.
Participation in the Knowledge Day Substrate costs 170 euros (incl. VAT) per person. This includes dinner. Click here for more info and registration.
